One of the goals of this remodel was to protect the architectural integrity of the home, which was designed by Bert Harmer (Alexander Bertrand Harmer) in 1927 as one of the original 13 homes in the then-new Hope Ranch development. With the modest addition of 650 square feet to create a small office off the kitchen on the first floor and a second-story office space with an external stairway, the remodel improved the structure, updated finishes, and brought life back to this almost-century-old Spanish Colonial Revival home. Architect: Peter Becker.
