El Campello is a town north of Alicante that has developed a longitudinal offshore. The oldest part, known “fishing town”, had a traditional typology based in a facade housing scarce and very deep, one or two floors, with the presence of courtyards, usually in the back, which served to store gear and tools. The local master plan proposed a more than questionable volumes for new construction with aesthetic requirements that have nothing to do with the vernacular architecture, much with a vision of a bucolic and romantic Mediterranean architecture invented in theme parks and resorts to foreign public. Therefore the project should be resolved in a plot of ground 25 meters deep and just over 4 meters wide, and a stepped section and imposed a materiality resolution.The spatial configuration of housing is raised about two yards circular bore into the longitudinal plant and distribute living spaces around them.These translucent patios incorporating light while an evanescent atmosphere, order setting the interior space so SINUOUS stays, helping to forget the longitudinal perception of space. The result is a twisting movement that view rooms, rooms with curved walls, continuous spatial perception, and the background, the beach ... like a wave ...
