YEAR
2014
SIZE
1000 sqft - 3000 sqft
BUDGET
$100K - 500K
Scullery is located at the base of an urban residential tower in the East Fremont district of Las Vegas. The available space was tiny for the intended function. BUNNFYFiSH studio maximized the opportunity by adding a mezzanine within the available volume. All existing raw concrete elements are preserved

The scullery is designed around two distinct spaces defined by opposing colors: white and black. The first space is the ‘kitchen’ where people eat, drink, and socialize. The kitchen is white brick and natural wood, and streams with natural light through large windows. The second space is a black box theater where people watch performances and enjoy cocktails. The black box is surrounded by dark metal finishes and black velvet performance curtains. The two spaces collide in a grey colored intersection where there are intimate booths for dining and conversation.
