The client asked for a tile roof to protect cars from winter frost. Town hall regulations asked for low height for ephemeral constructions, so the minimal height on the perimeter was one of the principles. Trying to respect both the double slope of the existing building and horizontality of the wall resulted on a double hyperbolic paraboloid which was built with wooden beams by local workers.http://www.flickr.com/photos/rucativava/4131619081/in/set-72157622870848470/
