The project solves problem of the space requirement for the private library. The library is connected directly to the family house. This solution complements the existing family house by a prism. This prism is connected with the South facade of the family house. The access to the library is secured by the gallery that leads from the living room situated in the second floor and also provides the access to the upper part of the library. The next access to the library is provided by the single-flight staircase that leads as well from the living room to the ground floor of the library. The lower part of the library is open to the garden by the Western facade. The lightening of the upper part is provided by the skylight.
The walls, ceiling and the construction of the building are proposed in a white color. The floor is made of the white cement. The only expressive components of the space are colored spines of the books and an oak work desk with a pendant light located in the centroid of the library.
