HKS, Inc. was selected as lead designer with Ohio-based Messer Construction Co. for the North Residential District transformation design-build project to revitalize The Ohio State University main campus in Columbus, Ohio.
The Messer/HKS team was chosen after an intense competitive review process, during which the team identified $26 million in savings to the university, bringing the new project budget to $370 million.
The North Residential District transformation project will include new residential buildings, two new dining centers, a new fitness center and outdoor recreational spaces, which will attract residents and visitors alike.
