Mustad pedestrian bridge connects Mustad business park with nearby Gjovik town centre. The bridge spans a total of 32 meters with two triangulated girders, hidden within the corten steel clad railings. A lighting strip along the bottom of the railings emphasises this architectonic point. The steel picks up the colour
of the existing brickwork of the adjacent buildings, and the contrast to the grey concrete deck as well as the illuminated strip, provides easy orientation for the visually impared. Cast into the prefabricated concrete decking elements is a crystaline sine-wave pattern, a referance to the streams of information going in and out of the business park.
