the projet is inscribed within the urban tissue of réchy. it contributes for the densification of the village, emphasizes the street front defined by its neighboring existing buildings and re-enforces the rural character of the site. Its compact volume, which scarcely uses land surface, restricts its visual impact.

built with a pre-fabricated wooden structure, the house is rationally isolated. Its double flux ventilation allows for continuous air renewal, which prevents energy loss caused by opening windows during winter. these are oriented to take advantage of solar contribution and to provide particular views.

the choice of materials was made taking into account durability, quality and economy. therefore, the facades are made from boards of "mélèze" (a local type of wood), the inner walls are coated with OSB (which also serves as a cross-bracing system) and the concrete flooring efficiently provides the spread of warmth and a favorable inertia.
