This project is conceived to be a conservatory for butterflies and moths. Thus the experience with the butterflies and their environment was of utmost importance in this project. The journey through the building is a path of exploration that starts from the distant visual experience of the glass structure and the life inside it, then moving inside the building for a closer auditory experience where one can hear the sounds of natural elements and finally transforming into a complete tactile experience of space when one enters the butterfly garden and can feel the environment of the butterflies. The design idea was to explore the improbable, by questioning the identity of the heavy and floating it, and supporting it on the lighter mass contradictory to the basic structural rules. The lighter mass cuts through the heavy floating mass to reach out to the light.
