Authentic and Colorful Places…
CBTE Architecture, developed design concept of KFC restaurants through corporate colour of the brand and by adding relaxing new colours and choosing natural materials to the places and tried to give personality to the places without compensating from clear and sterile look of known perception. Designing wall surfaces is another important concept stage, placing product visuals directed for product, service and material quality into points where users can esily focused and get new ideas.
CBTE Architecture, created a lot of alternatives for users when planning the place in different setups and designed different seating groups for groups such as big tables, chair tables. Different from known fast food restaurants, a general illumination plan for places was used. In addition to this, it tried to emphasize the focus points such as seating groups and product visuals in the place with point illuminations.
Flexible and integrative setups in spatial planning of restaurants and modern and colorful details used in interior places, they are integrated into front facade of the existing structures. Front facades differentiate according to size and quality of the structure surface, determine its identity without moving away from general concept understanding.
Çagdas Belen and Tanem Eren Belen, said that the concept they develop for KFC restaurants is “developed with a floor which provides to build authentic and specific details and within the framework of contemporary and townie design understanding where users can feel comfortable and spend long and quality time at the place.”
