We designed and executed this full rehabilitation and enlargement of a historic red-brick townhouse to add functionality and openness. A ribbon of casement windows overlooks historic rear yards, bringing daylight deep into the new penthouse. Restored window mullions and stone lintels echo the language of the townhouse’s original street-side shutters.
