This project features a main exterior wall of material, color, and shape in very narrow intervals, creating layers of thin slits. This allows for privacy from the outside as well as natural ventilation.
Large, open window spaces were created for brightness both in the courtyard and the interior space. To take maximum advantage of the sunlight, those spaces were set at a separate distance as one straight beam through which the sun would scatter and embrace the entire house. Thus, you can enjoy the courtyard in each room anytime you’d like. Even with its small size, this residential space made it possible to be open and spacious yet private at the same time.
