The hostel was designed for the students of the International Business School (IBS). Its mass is constructed of three parts, with the entrance and communal spaces on the higher floors located at the intersection of these. The rooms are in the wings. The unit of the three mass elements is reinforced and held together by an external, continuous contour line.
Our interior design plans for the building were not implemented due to financial constraints. How our originally designed colorful world of the communal spaces will be implemented or expanded upon depends on how creative IBS students are in the future. Two features determine the appearance: the two differently textured ceramic plates used on the façade and the glass stripes that are lifted out of the level of the stripe windows to the level of the paneling.
