Franklin Court Museum

Type
QEA is leading a multi-disciplined design team for the renovation of the Franklin Court Museum at Independence National Historical Park which is dedicated to the life and legacy of Benjamin Franklin. The museum is located underground, below a steel “ghost structure” designed by Robert Venturi which outlines the spot where Franklin’s stately brick home once stood. The comprehensive renovation will incorporate new state-of-the-art exhibits and a modifi ed entrance pavilion at the courtyard level.
