Edifice Solutions is providing Prime Design | Build services for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Research Library located in the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC). The library supports the FHWA’s research, development and technology (RD&T) mission to investigate new highway technologies and transfer those research results to the transportation community.
The relocation of the Research Library to a space off the main entrance will improve its visibility, usability, capability, and functionality. The work also includes an educational exhibit space in the lobby areas to showcase the research and technology of the center. Edifice Solutions self-performed architecture and interior design, construction, move management and FF & E for the library and lobby areas, and exhibit design and install. The completed contract cost was $976K.
