Philosophy of the new urbanism as civilized
and modern look on an indigenous coloring, seeking of the contact points
between the territorial features and islander's mentality and invected culture,
and making peace.
Concept
proposes the alternative way of the living
space forming. The rehabilitation of the territory is formed by the uniting of the people in the places of
their living as follows: distinct houses, streets, blocks and block systems.
The
planning structure of the project is formed inseparably with the district's functional
zoning. The trunk Jalan Mega Kuningan serves as uniting trunk (axis) of the
district basic functional zones, such as: residential
space, central square and business area. Transit trunk Jalan Profesor
Doktor Satrio is arisen above the territory and it runs mostly among the park
zones for discomfort minimization.
The main core
of the district is formed by Uniting Square which
is framed by the Public center. It is created by the blocks of craftsman,
exhibitions, galleries, museums etc. The building-up of the centre of the Uniting
Square is formed by the multilevel
amphitheatre for amusement purpose (concerts, festivals, shows etc).
The
reconstruction of the business area
considers existing buildings and proposes to unite them with a help of the expressly regular structural grid. It is arisen above the pedestrian territory.
On the crossroads of the planning axis
and two other city roads is located the main
high-rise and semantic dominant (ternary form city tower).
The
idea of relaxing areas of the
district is lying in the base of the development of the parks, squares, ponds,
boulevards, yards and gardens. This way contributes to harmonization and
peaceful human being in the living environment.
