STATUS
Built
YEAR
2013
This building is at the confluence of different flows: pedestrians, cars and sky train. We wanted to use faceted geometry to show the dynamics of the building. Glazed tiles cover the entire building, making this envelop look like an alcove in a constantly busy environment. Cleaning itself as time goes on with the rain, it is not affected by pollution deposition. Street-side, openings carved diagonally protect the interior areas from the external intensity and offer privacy. Finally, the high environmental requirements led to the design of a compact and energy-efficient building.
