After being flooded out of their temporary brewing space by Super Storm Sandy, Coney Island Brewery is back in operation with a fresh new “city-scaled” brewery nestled in one of New York City’s favorite neighborhoods.
The 1,700 sq. ft. micro brewery features a slate and metal framed bar and matching standing bar, both clad in corrugated steel, highlighted with a time and weather-worn color pallet reflective of Coney Island’s rustic charm. The standing bar divides the tasting room from the brewing room, which has two active brewing tanks and six fermentation tanks. Branded outdoor seating provides space for over 40 customers to enjoy their beverages and enjoy the carnival-like atmosphere of Coney Island.
