Type
This is
a prototype expandable mobile classroom which is delivered off the back of a
flat bed lorry. Once in place the capsule extends to create a wide footprint,
stage and ramp access.
The
scheme was funded by UK Department of Education as one of thirty pilot
projects exploring possible learning environments. The concept was to
develop a
flexible
ICT rich environment capable of easy transformation to support changing uses.
The
classroom was designed for Primary Schools (ages 4-11) in one London Borough -
with the Classroom visiting different schools in turn.
