Concept

CONCEPT:The
classic idea of Architecture, the way a child would draw it, is a shape
made by 2 walls + gable roof and a swing nearby. Extruding this shape
children can draw a realistic house easly.This is the basic idea of
Architecture.The
concept of this pavilion project is to start from a child drawing of a
house and offer a new perception of it distorting its 2D section. So the
front view section is moved into 3 dimensions. The entire body is split
in 2 parts with a cut, doing so the section and its distortion can be
perceived from the interior of the pavilion while dividing the space in 2
single parts. On the front diagonal cut an entrance red ramp calls the
visitor inside. Sittings are provided by the classic kids swing in the
middle, while expositions can be hanged on the walls, like a childs
drawing.ILLUMINATION:The
exterior skin is a mirror-like reflecting material which camouflages
the pavilion in its sorrounding, putting the emphasis on its section and
interior. At night the environmental lights bounce on it. Inside
classic hanging bulb lights give diffuse illumination. These are
arranged on triangular layout in plan to light equally the inside space
while hanging from different heights to give a casual sensation. Borders
are covered with black textile behind which run 2 stripes of LED 5000K
lights that can fit easly and put in evidence the concept by night.
