This Urban Mausoleum is a tribute to humankind's lack of understanding of death. Escher's triangle dissected and separated to start the basic floor plan. The corners of the v-shapes were then tugged and pulled at unequal elevations to one another. The design of the structure was able to further manipulate the perception in three dimensional space to create a labyrinth of the living walking among the dead who create the exterior wall that is penetrated by the natural light from the surrounding park. The three main forms are covered in a stone similar in color and texture to I.M.Pei's Gallery East Wing.
