Since its creation, the Atelier VongDC develops and cultivates the integrate relationship between ‘Architecture’ and ‘Society’. Our projects systematically seek coherence between Client - Place - Program - Time, with an in-depth view and comprehensions of the enjeux, sensitivities, and the risks of each project.
Today our multi-cultural team has developed a great complicity and works as “think tank” dedicated to architecture. Our projects are built upon a reflection on the quality of the places, the environment, the social relations and the well being of the inhabitants in dense urban contexts.
Our work, initially oriented around Private, Residential and Social Housing, has diversified considerably in the past few years : Urban Design & Masterplanning (Ilots les Plaisances - Mantes la Ville - France, Mitterie District - Lome, Albon), Civil Engineering Works (“Grand Moulin” Footbridge in Paris, “La Rochelle” train station renovation, “Pont Rouge” Bridge in Maubeuge) as well as Public & Institutional Buildings (Elderly Housing – Maison de Vessy – Switzerland , “Faubourg des Modes” - Lille - France, “Malot-Painlevé-la Bruyère” Elementary School & Kindergarten– Lille - France)
