Terry Pawson Architects was founded in 2001, based in a central London studio where we are working on both public and commercially funded projects of all scales. Recent completed projects have included an office building for a private company in London, a public hall in Wimbledon and a single-family private house.The practice provides a full architectural service for clients as well as masterplanning and interior design. We are also experienced in working with existing and listed buildings, finely balancing our contemporary approach with the historic fabric.Completed buildings by the practice have won a number of design awards: from the RIBA, the Civic Trust and the Chicago Athenaeum International Architecture Award, as well as local authority design commendations. We are regularly short listed for public and cultural projects within Europe and have also won a number of significant international design competitions, including the new contemporary art gallery and theatre in Ireland and the new opera house in Austria.
