Nikos Smyrlis studied architecture in NTU Athens and plastic arts in Paris, Sorbonne 1. He collaborated with several architecture offices in Athens, Paris and Cyprus, and founded Smyrlis Architects in Athens in 1992. He has designed and built more than 50 commercial and residential projects and participated in architectural competitions in Greece and abroad. In 2003 he was invited to design the Greek Pavilion for the Arcadeuropea Project in Prague. His work published widely in Greece and was featured in the 5th binnale of Emerging Greek architects. He teaches at the Architecture Department of Patras University.
