MHS Architecture is an award-winning firm offering a full range of architectural, planning, urban, and interior design services from project feasibility through construction administration for both private and public sector clients. While the firm has a history of public and institutional projects it maintains a strong focus on the specific needs of the real estate developer. With an extraordinary record of completed projects ranging from individual townhouses to high-rise mixed-use urban developments, the firm possesses a broad knowledge of the development process that can only come from experience. The work has shown consistency for inventive contextual solutions and has provided the new face for Hoboken’s incredible revitalization from the days of decay and decline to its success as New Jersey’s hottest comeback City.
Established in 1981 by founding principal Dean Marchetto, FAIA, the firm was later incorporated in 2000 and joined by partners Michael Higgins, AIA, and Bruce Stieve, AIA. In 2018, Michael Buldo, AIA was elevated to Principal. The firm has grown to a professional staff of 40 architects and can assure that each project receives the attention, talent and experience
required to plan, design, and develop exceptional places.
With more than 200 finished projects in Hudson County alone, we are a firm that actually gets projects built. And now cities all over New Jersey want in on what we’ve done here. We are reinventing the urban landscape, and to help us continue our great work, we need exceptional talent — exceptional thinkers, designers, and collaborators. Send us your resume and portfolio. We promise to get back to you.
