We are excited to announce a partnership with the Guggenheim Museum. In conjunction with their “Re: Contemplating the Void – Create Your Own Guggenheim Intervention” public online competition, Architizer invites you to submit your entries to Architizer that reimagine the iconic Guggenheim Rotunda in New York.
You may remember when we covered the exhibition 'Contemplating the Void: Interventions in the Guggenheim Museum' wherein they asked 200 architects and artists to do the same thing.
Well, consider the floodgates open!
The full competition brief can be read here. We encourage any Architizer members to upload their work as well! Just add 'Guggenheim' in the tags and we will include it in our showcase at the end of the competition.
The Guggenheim brief reads in part:
To celebrate the close of the Guggenheim’s 50th Anniversary year, we invite you to create your own dream intervention of the Guggenheim Museum. Now you can take on the same challenge that 200 artists, designers, and architects took on for the exhibition Contemplating the Void: Interventions in the Guggenheim Museum.
We thoroughly encourage you to visit the Guggenheim's Flickr page to read all the rules and submission requitements, and definitely upload your fine work to Architizer!
