McDonald's restaurants may be a dime a dozen, but we guarantee you've never seen one like this before. This home of the Big Mac in Clifton Hill, Melbourne is an Art Deco icon. Built in 1937 by architect James Hastie Wardrop, the beautiful curved building with sprawling balconies was once the United Kingdom Hotel. Now the historic structure dons a set of golden arches in the middle of its vertical piping and is adorned with red and yellow brick lining along the facade. The Art Deco Buildings blog called it "The Most Beautiful McDonald's in the World," but we can imagine they're a bit biased.
