Architizer was founded to empower architecture. For the last four years we have been working on raising awareness of great architecture online. 1.4 million Facebook fans and the world’s largest architecture awards program are things we are particularly proud of. Now it’s time to close the loop and help get architects work.
There is a frustration that every architect faces. We are a profession that touches nearly everyone: The EPA reports that the average American spends 90% of their time indoors. Despite architecture’s ubiquity, there is no effective tool to find a great architect — no ZocDoc, no Monster.com, no 1-800-DENTIST.
We’re changing that.
In partnership with The Wall Street Journal/WSJ. Magazine, CORE Group Marketing, and Dwell, Architizer — the largest platform for architecture online — is thrilled to announce the launch of Find An Architect, the easiest way to find and hire architectural talent.
Since our launch in 2009, Architizer has become the leading destination and resource for professional architects, hosting 75,000-plus projects posted by over 35,000 firms across the globe; a robust marketplace spotlighting materials and products used in major projects; and the world’s largest architectural awards program, the A+ Awards. And now we’re ready to help architects find new work.
Find An Architect debuted with a full-page ad in the WSJ Money Summer 2014 issue
It works like this:
- Clients submit project proposals on Find An Architect.
- Beginning June 24, we’ll be posting a weekly digest of opportunities.
- Interested firms have one week to submit a simple application using their Architizer profile.
- The client shortlists their favorite firms and connects with them through Architizer.
